The Thrill of Smart Phone Photography

I'm always amazed at how fast technology changes. In high school it was beepers that would alert you to go find a payphone to make a call. Today we can take high resolution still photos and video on a device that is smaller than those original beepers. And the compact size makes it great for being a fly on the wall or quickly moving it to new and interesting angles. The following images were made with my iPhone7+ over the past few weeks. While I love shooting with my Nikon DSLR, it's not always practical, especially when I want to fully interact with our 3-year-old son.
