Black Lives Matter, Simi Valley, CA

Demonstrators march along Cochran St. in Simi Valley, Califorina, during protest of police brutality and in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement on June 6, 2020 weeks after the death of George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man killed while being detained by police in Minneapolis, Minnesota. These are a set of images I took from the car over the course of about 15 minutes as I passed through the protest route. I wish I could have had the time to cover it better but I came across this with my son thinking it was going to be much smaller. There were thousands of people attending and it was one of the most powerful things I have ever seen.
