Yesterday, May 13, 2022, I drove up to Lompoc to attempt a viewing of a rocket launch. This was another SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carrying a load of Starlink satellites up into orbit. It was a clear day and the formerly delayed launch happened as planned at 3:07 PM PST. I believe that SpaceX has now launched 18 rockets to date in 2022. I was hoping the booster would land back at Vandenberg but apparently it landed on a ship off the coast of Baja. But overall, what a show this was. I can't wait to go watch another!
