One of my favorite backlit frames I captured with my Nikon D500 + 200-500mm f/5.6 lens (1/8000s, f/7.1 ISO 400) from the other day at the Ventura Point near the fairgrounds in Ventura, CA. On Saturday, October 15, 2022 we travelled out to Edwards Air Force base in the southern California desert to watch the Aerospace Valley Airshow and to catch a great show by the Air Force Thunderbirds.
